Rubadiri owns the publishing company Passion Fruit Publishing Ltd. which is currently publishing a series of contemporary manuscripts by himself and others-  including ‘Generation Lion’ his historic magazine which documents T&T’s creative genius at home and in its diaspora. This has culminated almost 2 decades of creative writing in fiction and non-fiction, including scholarly papers delivered in local, regional and international conferences and symposia. The University of the West Indies Youth Printing Press is named after one of Rubadiri's papers. Passion Fruit books like 'Generation Lion Magazine' and 'Anansi & the 10 Dragons' have a habit of selling out quickly...

ANANSI & THE 10 DRAGONS

November 2018

The first of a 21 part series called 'The New Adventures of Anansi'. The first 7 books will feature the adventures of Anansi's grandmother as a little girl. The next 7 will feature the adventures of her son. The final 7 will feature the adventures of the Anansi that we all know and love...

 

ANANSI & THE 10 DRAGONS introduces us to the Kingdom of Animals ruled by Brer Lion who rules well and is loved by all. Pandemonium strikes the Kingdom when the King's son is kidnapped and a ransom note is sent by 10 Dragons requiring a champion to come forth and answer their 10 riddles or else the Kingdom will be destroyed. Anansi joins the adventure at a critical point as time is running out on the Kingdom...
