Rubadiri Victor

From 1992- 1999 Rubadiri's main artistic business was hand-painted t-shirts. During that period he did over 800 designs and painted over 4000 t-shirts. It was possibly the most successful business of its kind at the time. Rubadiri used the t-shirt as a form to explore all kinds of Trinbagonian, Caribbean, and African-diasporic iconographies and mythologies- everything, from the Orisha and Hindu deities, First People Creation Myths, Black Liberation heroes, and more...  He has finally returned to the form, but employs screen-printing techniques now instead...
